Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps in Peru for Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the top five cryptocurrency apps in Peru showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a consistent trend in weekly downloads, fluctuating between about 2.6K to 5.9K. Notably, the highest download rate was 5.9K in mid-August. Active users for the app started at approximately 38.4K in late June and gradually declined to around 30.4K by the end of September.

Securex Perú experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting with 1.9K downloads in late June, the app's downloads peaked at 3.6K in the final week of September. This growth indicates a rising interest in this app over the quarter.

Sweat Wallet showed a rapid increase in both downloads and active users after its release at the end of July. Downloads jumped from just over 100 in mid-August to a peak of 4K in early September. Active users also saw a sharp rise, from 87 in mid-August to approximately 8.9K by mid-September, before settling at around 7.1K by the end of the quarter.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet had a steady performance in downloads, maintaining a range between 649 and 1.1K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for MetaMask showed a slight upward trend, starting at 16.5K in late June and peaking at roughly 17.8K in early September, before a slight decline to around 16.1K by the end of September.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 582 to 908. The app's active users remained stable as well, starting at 18.3K in late June and ending at around 18.8K by the end of September.
